The coloured juices of six natural elements are recovered using a process and then frozen in X-shaped ice cube moulds. Six different designs inspired by cross-stitch embroidery are traced on the fabric before. Two of them are inspired by stories - a folk tale and an author’s tale, and the others are free. The audience is invited to make up the designs with ice cubes and then watch them melt as they listen to the stories.
The multi-stage protocol does not prevent us from observing a great deal of magic in the transformation of the ice cubes and the evolution of the colour and pattern. The important thing is to capture the moment of exchange, transformation and transmission.
