N ou N, comme le post-partum est né à 4h42.
Témoin de mes tourments nocturnes laitiers et textuels ; fruit de la rencontre avec d'autres femmes, mères et autrices ; histoire du virage serré quand l'artiste devient mère et mère utilise l'art pour survivre. Mon quotidien, mes débats silencieux, mes angoisses, colères et joies deviennent des textes, de la poésie, des chansons, du flash fiction.
Rassemblés dans mon premier livre d'artiste et augmentés de photos personnelles et intimes prises sur le vif avec le téléphone, et d'une note d'humour et d'autodérision sans quoi je me crashe. L'ensemble est mis en livre avec soin par l'artiste Jeanne Champenois-Masset. Les textes en version originale sont en « français surtout, un peu en russe et un chouia d'anglais ». Le choix de la police post-binaire comme une ouverture vers d'autres parentalités possibles.
Ce livre fait partie d'une recherche en cours consacrée à la transformation de mon expérience maternelle en œuvre plastique et/ou littéraire (microédition Que du bonheur !, décembre, 2025 ; un accrochage curatorial avec des lectures et création d'un fanzine collectif avec le public Maternité.s mars, 2026 ; curation de la salle Nourri de mon lait juin-octobre, 2026).

N was born at the top of my right thigh — a chance accumulation of veins tracing the first letter of my son's name.
N ou N, comme le post-partum was born at 4:42 a.m.
Witness to my nocturnal torments, of milk and of text; fruit of the encounter with other women, mothers and writers; the story of the sharp turn where the artist becomes a mother and the mother uses art to survive. My daily life, my silent arguments, my anxieties, angers and joys become texts, poetry, songs, flash fiction.
Gathered into my first artist's book and augmented with personal, intimate photographs taken on the spot with a phone, and with a note of humour and self-mockery without which I crash. The whole was carefully made into a book by the artist Jeanne Champenois-Masset. The texts appear in their original version, "mostly in French, a little in Russian and a smidgen of English". The post-binary typeface was chosen as an opening onto other possible parenthoods.
This book is part of an ongoing research project devoted to transforming my experience of motherhood into visual and/or literary work (micro-edition Que du bonheur !, December 2025; a curatorial hang with readings and the creation of a collective fanzine with the public, Maternité.s, March 2026; curation of the room Nourri de mon lait, June–October 2026).
